Actions and Indications:

1. Disperses wind-cold and unblocks the nasal passages: used for a variety of acute conditions that block the nasal passages and sinuses, both topically and internally. Can be used by itself for this purpose. Especially useful when accompanied by red and dry eyes.
   
   
2. Disperses pathogens, resolves toxicity, and reduces swelling: used topically for toxic and traumatic swellings as well as localized pain from painful obstruction. This partially applies to the macerated fresh product.
